The ‘R’ Campground

The R Campground is located on the southeast side of Charles City, Iowa along the Cedar River. It was established in 1999, and lies on 18 acres with a 3 acre pond. There are plenty of amenities, including, showers, a laundromat, full hook ups, electric only, and tent spaces. The campground is located in Charles City, a short, pleasant drive 18 miles west of New Hampton. The setting there is quiet, calm, and relaxing.

From the Davis Rally, in New Hampton, you take State Highway 18 west to Charles City, turn south (left) on L Street, then turn right onto 1st Ave, then a left onto Pfeiffer, and arrive at the campground at the end on Clark Street.

They can be reached at 641-257-0549, as reservations for sites during busy weekends such as the Davis Rally are strongly recommended. The ‘R’ Campground facility offers the following:
